SGI - SEQUENTIAL GAS INJECTION
|
 |
The new LPG
system for today and the future
|
How
the system works
- Liquid gas flows from the
LPG tank to the regulator in the engine compartment.
- The liquid gas is vaporised
in this regulator and the LPG pressure is adjusted to a stable value.
- The LPG then flows through
the common rail to the SGI Injectors, which are attached to every inlet
manifold.
- The SGI computer calculates
the desired injection moment and the duration of injection for each cylinder
required independently.
Benefits
- Cheaper Fuel
- Congestion Charge Exemption on
some vehicles for details see the PowerShift register
- Reduced exhaust emissions which
helps protect the environment
