The Engine Build and Development
Department is heavily involved in the continued build, service and test of
various types of Cosworth V8 engines, plus NME’s
own
LMP 2 engine
and a 3500cc specification engine
both based on the Cosworth XB
Indy engine. NME is currently able to rebuild over 100 engines per year. In
addition to this the department is heavily involved in development engines.
